NOTES ON THE MAXIMUM PERMISSIBLE OVERALL WEIGHT
The maximum overall weight limit is calculated as follows : Weight bicycle (kg)
+ Weight cyclist (kg)
+ Weight luggage (e.g. backpack, pannier bags)
+ Weight child seat, trailer including load, persons and/or pets (kg), if approved = maximum permissible overall weight (kg)

NOTICE
If a trailer is used, the overall weight of the trailer (trailer + load) is counted as part of the overall weight of the bicycle and must be considered in the maximum permissible overall weight of the bicycle.
